Media reveals the first position Arsenal urgently needs to strengthen in the summer market

British media has revealed Arsenal’s plans to strengthen the team this summer. They viewed that Midfield players are a key position that Mikel Arteta needs.

Arsenal Football Club places great emphasis on strengthening the midfield. They need players who will be a depth force for the ยูฟ่าเบท team in the summer market to compete for the Premier League title next season.

From a report by James McNicholas, a reporter for The Athletics, it was revealed that after the Gunners Missing out on Benjamin Zesko, RB Leipzig’s talented forward, made them focus on players in other positions instead.

The outlet believes Arsenal are more likely to look for a number six rather than an eight, as they believe they already have better options in attack.

Mikel Arteta has no problem scoring goals, with Kai Havertz showing good form last season. Including reserve players like Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossar who can rotate onto the field.

The problem is more in the midfield. Although Declan Rice has been a regular and has performed well throughout the 2023-2024 season, the defensive midfield, which currently consists of Thomas Partey and Jorginho, is unlikely to be enough to sustain the title challenge.

However, both midfielders are out of contract in 2025, meaning Arsenal will need to urgently look for a replacement to help Rice in the summer.
